Healing - Case 3
Here is a significant lesion encompassing both the mandibular central and lateral incisors. The lesion is much more prominent around the central incisor and it has some significant calcification of the canal space compared to the lateral. All this would lead us to conclude that the central incisor is the source of the problem, right?
Wrong! We should not rely on radiographs alone to make a diagnosis if possible. Pulp testing is always necessary, and in this case, only the lateral incisor was an issue. After treating the lateral incisor only, the entire lesion has completely healed.
