Healing - Case 2

Lesions of endodontic origin (LEO's) are capable of complete healing (100%). Even if they are extensive. This type of lesion deserves a cautious approach with a guarded prognosis, mainly due to the possibility of finding a root fracture.

After 3 years there has been complete healing and no symptoms. If it were a combined Endo/Perio lesion, the endodontic component will heal and we would be left to treat the periodontal defect as if it were on it's own.
